HEWITT is currently working on the early design planning for 7 out of the 14 transit stations of the West Seattle and Ballard Link Extensions project. The West Seattle Extension will connect the West Seattle Community to the downtown core by 2031*, and further out to Ballard by 2036* with terminus stations at Alaska Junction and Ballard neighborhood. A new Westlake Station is being planned, connected to the existing Westlake Station.
